by the Mesa Award Program
The Mesa Award Program is an annual award program
honoring the achievements and accomplishments
of local businessess throughout the Mesa area

In the Show we tell Tid-bits of Information about the song or artist. For Example, here's what we might say about a song in the show.

This song was written by Justin Tubb & recorded by Hawkshaw Hawkins in 1963. It was the final single release of his career recorded on the "KING" label. Three days after its release, Hawkins died in a plane crash that also killed Patsy Cline and Cowboy Copas. Two weeks after Hawkins' death, the song reached #1 for a four week run, Just Call Lonesome 7-7203

Since its conception in 1988, it has been the goal of the shows creator, Larry King, to keep the music of legendary entertainers alive for future generations. Making sure the struggles and sacrifices made by the greats of the past aren't forgotten. The Legends like Jimmy Rogers, Maybelle Carter, Hank Williams, Kitty Wells and others made it possible for new country stars to shine more easily.

The Legends of Country Music entertains to sold out audiences throughout the country. Even though there's been new songs or artists added to the show, the basic format remains the same. The show highlights not just one or two entertainers, as most tribute shows do, 2018 shows highlight even more Legends than EVER before! This SHOW features over 40 Legends and highlighting more than 60 #1 hits, making the Legends of Country Music the largest country tribute show touring today!

The best performers and musicians west of Nashville sing only the most recognizable hits. Each show member takes great pride in performing the songs as close to the original as possible, just the way you remember them. The Legends highlighted are never impersonated, only the highest respect is paid to each one. While attending the show, a true country music fan relives memories of the past, yet others appreciate the talent on stage and the fast pace of the show, all while making new memories.

The Legends of Country Music has remained the premier tribute show year after year. The Legends of Country Music Show has been performing this unique, award winning format for "32" Years. The show has become a favorite in the western United States, Canada, England, Germany and even Australia. The show has something for everyone with Tid-Bits of Information about the Song or Artist, the Best Musicians West of Nashville, Humor, Bluegrass, a little Gospel and a Touching Tribute to Our Military.

Since 1988, Larry King has maintained his tradition of paying a special salute to the all military personnel, past and present, at every show with special recognition. Since the audience usually consist of people from surrounding countries as well, we don't limit our salute to only the United States, but anyone who has served.

The high quality of the Legends of Country Music Show has made it the popular choice for entertainment where ever they perform. Sold out crowds have become a normal occurrence on a consistent basis with simply word of mouth advertising. Many people come to the show time and time again with the same enthusiasm. With the sheer numbers of Legends, performing different shows is easy with the same popular format!

Arizona is our home, unlike other entertainment who comes to the valley, performs and leaves until the next year. The Legends of Country Music are available to perform through-out the year. We do travel close to home in the off season for a few weeks. We would like to plan a Canadian Tour next summer, so we are working on that. If you have any suggestions of locations, please let us know.

The Legends of Country Music isn't a large corporation, it is a family. It has been built with a lot of hard work and countless hours of meeting people, shaking hands, all done by Larry King. Every time you attend a show, we know your time is valuable and there are hundreds of things you could have done that night. Please know how much we APPRECIATE your support!
